How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one or more of the following reasons:

  • To process and ship orders placed through our website, third party store fronts (Amazon and eBay) and over the phone.
  • To process orders for store collection.
  • To enhance, modify, personalise or otherwise improve our services/communications for the benefit of our customers.

We may share this information with third party websites where we have storefronts such as Amazon and eBay. We may also share this information with our delivery partners including DPD, Yodel, Hermes and Royal Mail. This information enables us to process and fulfil your order as well as providing support for order and account queries. Customers who opt-in to marketing communication will have their contact details including name and email address shared with MailChimp. When attempting or completing a payment the information is shared with Opayo, Stripe, PayPal and/or Amazon.

We use Google reCAPTCHA
 to detect and prevent spam. The personal data collected includes answers to questions; clicks; keypress events; motion sensor events; mouse movements; scroll position and touch events. Tracker and usage data is also collected.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your digital information is securely stored in the UK with our dedicated web host. Physical information is located at our secured business premises in the UK.

We keep all personal information including account and order details for up to 6 years. We will then dispose of your digital information by secure electronic deletion. Any physical data is shredded, destroyed and where possible recycled.

If you do not exercise your right to object to marketing or unsubscribe to our marketing emails, we will store your personal information for marketing purposes until you exercise your right to object or unsubscribe.
